● Scripture
○ We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. We confess that
“holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (II Peter 1:21)
to write the words of Sacred Scripture. The Bible is infallible, inerrant, and the
only source of absolute Truth. It contains everything that we need to know about
God, Man, this world, and the way of salvation in Jesus Christ (II Timothy 3:16).
● Trinity
○ We believe that our God is Triune, meaning He is one in Being and three in
Person. The Persons of the Holy Trinity are the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit. Each Person of the Trinity is co-equal and co-eternal with the others. We
confess our God lives in perfect, eternal fellowship within Himself. (John 10:30,
Genesis 1:26, Hebrews 1:1-4, II Corinthians 3:17)
● Covenant
○ We believe in an unconditional covenant which God has established with all
believers (Genesis 17:7). He has done everything required to bring us into warm
friendship and fellowship with Himself, which we enjoy now in part and will enjoy
in fullness for all eternity when we die. There is nothing that we can do to earn a
place in this covenant, or to keep ourselves in it - it is all of God’s grace!
(Ephesians 2:8)
● Particular Grace
○ We believe that God has sovereignly and graciously elected His people unto
salvation from all eternity. Those whom God has chosen, and those only, will
respond to the gospel call (John 10:27-28). We confess this in opposition to the
false doctrine of Common Grace, which promotes the good favor of God to all
who hear the proclamation of the gospel and His sincere desire to save them. We
confess with Scripture that “all things work together for good to them that love
God” (Romans 8:28).
● Eternal Judgment
○ We believe that Jesus Christ will come again personally, in His human body (Acts
1:11), and in the sight of all men at the end of time. He will raise all men who
have ever lived from the dead, and all will stand before His throne to be judged (II
Timothy 4:5, John 5:28-29, Revelation 20:11-15). He will take His Bride, the
Church, to eternal joy in heaven with Himself, and send all His enemies into
eternal condemnation in Hell.
● Marriage
○ God ordained marriage in Genesis 2:22-25. According to God’s decree, we
believe that marriage is a lifelong bond between one man and one woman. God
has given marriage as a beautiful picture of the relationship between Christ and
His Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). Therefore, we vehemently reject any and all
perversions of Biblical marriage. We stand against any tolerance of
homosexuality, which God judges as sin (Romans 1:24-32). Furthermore, God
condemns and Jesus teaches remarriage after divorce as sin in Matthew 25:32.
● Salvation
○ There is no way of salvation apart from repentance from sin and faith in Jesus
Christ (Mark 1:15). We believe that salvation was accomplished once for all of
God’s people by Jesus Christ’s death on the cross (Hebrews 10:10-12). In
wondrous compassion and love, God laid the punishment for the sins of His
people on His own Son, who suffered God’s wrath in our place (Isaiah 53:6, II
Corinthians 5:21). In salvation, we are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and given
faith in our hearts so that we repent of our sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and live
for His glory (II Corinthians 5:17).
